We are excited that you are interested in pursuing the shrimp aquaculture business and want to help you be successful! We welcome any cursory questions you have about biofloc farming via email and will happily answer them at our earliest convenience. If you are looking for more in depth knowledge about our systems or about biofloc in general, please see our consulting arm below.

Time is important and therefore we are extending our knowledge through our consulting services. This will allow us to exchange more in depth details about biofloc shrimp farming and ensure that we are able to give you the appropriate time needed to answer any questions you may have. Valeska has a PhD in fisheries and thus has an in depth knowledge of the water chemistry and shrimp behavior, but she is still new to the biofloc business, therefore we cannot guarantee immediate success. We are willing to openly share our knowledge and experience in the hopes that you don’t make the same mistakes we did!

Option 1: Hour-by-hour consulting

What you get:

1.     an equipment list catered to meet your needs

2.     an hour of question and answer via phone or email

We know aquaculture can be tricky and questions and concerns pop up at all points in your harvest schedule. We also know that time is important to everyone and thus a scheduled phone call will ensure we give you the appropriate time it takes to fully answer your questions. Our equipment list will be catered to you and help fit your needs in terms of size, space, and expense. While we don’t provide you with the equipment we will have a listed of vetted vendors for you to use.

Option 2: Starting a biofloc farm

What you get:

1.     an equipment list catered to meet your needs

2.     question and answer segments (emails or scheduled phone conversations)

3.     a how-to-biofloc manual of compiled data from our experiences as well as from peer reviewed papers.

4. anything else you may need help with such as layout design, troubleshooting, ect..

If you are looking to start a biofloc farm, but have no clue where to start, this is the option for you. We know it can be daunting to start this venture from scratch, and want to help you be successful. We are still learning from our mistakes, but we want to grow with you, share our knowledge, and stop you from making the mistakes we did. We do not physically help with set-up or provide you with any equipment, but will help guide you along the way. Our equipment list will be catered to you and help fit your needs in terms of size, space, and expense. While we don’t provide you with the equipment we will have a listed of vetted vendors for you to use.
